After hours of research, I have finally decided on what I am going to make for our Christmas breakfast! French Toast Casserole!
I am going to use Pioneer Woman's recipe with a few minor tweaks. I will keep you posted on the results! We usually do cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning with the family, but since it will just be the Mr. and myself this year, I thought I would do something special!
Breakfasts this week have been either overnight oats or Great Harvest Pumpkin Swirl with PB2 and apples.
I am really starting to love PB2. I wasn't sure about it at first, but yeah. I see a new addiction in my future.
I have been out to lunch twice this week with friends or family, but on the other days, my lunches have been LAZY.
At the beginning of the week, I packed a big bag of apple slices, a container of 4% cottage cheese, english muffins, and Trader Joe's Cranberry Apple Butter. This has been my go-to lunch if I am not going out. Yes, I realize it looks revolting, but it is actually a really good combo.
Great taste, even better texture!
And dinner every.single.night this week has been a taco salad bowl.
Delicious, but I'm definitely over it.
This is a good thing because my sister and her hubs are coming over tonight for Christmas gumbo!

And now, can we just take a moment to admire my future puppy?
Seriously, cuteness overload.
This baby needs to come home with me ASAP.
Any opinions on good SMALL dogs?
I am in the market, obviously :)
I am OBSESSED with our retreiver, Nova, but I don't think I could handle two large dogs.
It's almost Christmas! And the world didn't end today! Woot!
Have a fantastic day! You are LOVED!!!

Dachshunds - They are incredibly smart, great personalities and very loyal! Some small dogs are really hyper and require a lot of attention and dachshunds are more laid back. They live on average 15 years! Best dogs ever!
ReplyDeletehello,
ReplyDeletejust letting you know that I LOVE your blog! super cute and inspiring :)
in terms of little dogs, I adore Jack Russells...especially the scruffy furred kind!
