Fall & Fair Day

It is officially fall, which means lunch on the patio and pumpkin everything.

Williams-Sonoma has a Pecan Pumpkin Butter that comes out this time of year and it is out.of.this.world.

I probably bought a total of 20 jars last season. I was completely, shamelessly addicted.

It took a good 8 months to wean myself off of the stuff...and then yesterday...this happened.

I literally said "OH SH*T" out loud when I saw this mountain of pumpkin madness.

Not my classiest moment.

Needless to say, I have officially started my pumpkin butter IV again.

I also have to document my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season.

I mean...sugar, milk, caffeine, pumpkin pie spice, and orange food coloring. Can it get anymore festive???

Starbucks...you nail it every time.

I enjoyed another festive cuppa joe from Crooked Tree Coffeehouse this past weekend while in Dallas.

This is seriously the greatest coffee shop of all time. Perfection. You must go.

While in Dallas, my sister, my mom, and my sister's mom in law decided to do a day at the Texas State Fair! Say hello to Big Tex!

If you have ever wanted to be a carny for a day (you know you do) the Texas State Fair is probably the best (and cleanest) way to do it.

Lunch consisted of corn dogs, roasted corn, curly fries, ice cream, caramel apples, and lemonade.

We also saw a dog show, which was awkward.

Then we went to the auto tent to see the concept cars and what not.

I am actually a car freak and thoroughly enjoy car shows like this.

For example, when I turned 10, all I wanted for my birthday was to go to the Rolls-Royce & Bentley dealership to look at luxury vehicles in real life.

I had like a TON of friends.

I lasted about 5 minutes at the quilt show before my need for more fried food took over. I whispered to my sister, "This is boring...let's go get curly fries."

She was more than willing to accompany me in my quest for the curly fry.

curly fries > quilt shows

Happy Tuesday!

I hope that yours is fabulous and filled with fried, curly potatoes!
