Lobsta Killa and Organic Mac & Cheese


 Tonight's meal was labeled as my "early birthday dinner", because my birthday dinners are always amazing (I mean, let's just be honest here) and this.was.amazing.


 We originally planned to just grill asparagus and chicken breast and make some of Annie's mac & cheese (incredible when made with Greek yogurt in place of milk!) for a side, but one sale led to another and, well...


 We ended up with lobster tail and tiger shrimp to go with our original menu.

 With a few swigs of this zin to get the party started :)

I also consumed more Girl Scout cookies than I would like to admit for dessert. 

I love/hate Girl Scouts.


Today's quick lunch consisted of apple slices, organic wheat thins, and Wild Squirrel Nut Butter (this times two...or three). Then I met my sweet sister at the crew to pick out my early bday present!

That's just how we do things sometimes.

After shopping and a smoothie stop at Jamba Juice, I stopped into the gym for a quick workout: 45 minutes on the elliptical while reading The Girl Who Played With Fire (finished Tattoo last week...dark but pretty good), followed by some weight lifting and core ball shiz.


Breakfast this morning was another bowl of Kashi Heart to Heart with almond milk and a spoonful of Wild Squirrel Curious Cocoa-Nut.

I hope you laughed until you cried (check), ate delicious food (check), asked for forgiveness (double check), and shook a strangers hand (check!) this weekend! Back to the grind tomorrow!
