Yesterday began with a cute little Larabar mini, enjoyed at 5:30 AM on the way to the gym.
After my same old drill (hour on the elliptical, level 11, default incline, GWTDT...), I headed to work and dominated a cinnamon raisin English muffin topped with Wild Squirrel Sneaky Cinnamon.
I need to learn how to make homemade English muffins. Anyone know a good recipe? I love them so much. It would be nice to start making my own!
The afternoon consisted of a kombucha, Chipotle, and daydreaming of the day when it doesn't take 30 minutes to get to the nearest Whole Foods. I need my kombucha to be leeetle bit more accessible.
We joined my dad and grandparents at Champions Golf Club for dinner last night. They eat dinner here every Tuesday, because Tuesday is buffet night at Champions.
Oh, and this is not your normal buffet. Oh no.
They have a different theme every week and I have never left completely blown away (and Thanksgiving full) by the tastiness of each and every item. Last night was chicken fried steak night, and while I'm not the biggest fan of CFS, I still had to try a piece. Amazing.
I CLEANED this plate and somehow still had room to split a cherry cobbler with the Mr.
Good times, great family, STUFFED belly.
What are your thoughts on kombucha and/or buffets? Love? Hate?
I LOVE me some kombucha. So refreshing.
I'm more of a "plated dinner" kind of gal, but from time to time, I do enjoy a buffet free for all :)
